NasalCEASE is easy to use

Simply Follow These Steps:

When a nosebleed starts, blow your nose to clear any clots. Blood clots left in the nasal cavity can increase the blood flow and/or be the cause of rebleeding.

NasalCEASE Nose bleed stop instructions

If NasalCEASE feels dry, you can moisten the material with saline solution before removal.

If blood is still coming from the nose after removal of NasalCEASE, insert a second pack and remove it after another thirty minutes.

You may notice a few fibers remaining in the nasal cavity after removal. These fibers will shortly disappear naturally.

Warnings
Do not coat NasalCEASE with ointments prior to use. This could interfere with the formation of the alginate gel at the interface between tissue and packing.
